A fundraiser for the SPCA was held in the Centennial Building at Beban Park, 2300 Bowen Rd., Nanaimo

FEATURING WORLD REKNOWN PET PSYCHOLOGIST DR. STANLEY COREN

The 2nd annual All about Pets Show will feature exhibits, demonstrations, seminars, educational programs, pet adoptions, product giveaways, entertainment and lots of fun for the whole family!

Dr. Coren is a Professor of Psychology at the University of British Columbia and author of numerous books on dogs. He is also host of the national TV show Good Dog! He has appeared on many national television programs to speak about dog and dog behavior, including Oprah, Larry King,Good Morning America, 20/20 and many more.

COST: $3.00 (children under 12 free accom. by adult)

F.E.A.T.H.E.R.S. is pleased to be attending the 2nd annual All About Pets show in Nanaimo, B.C.
Some of our members will be on hand with their own birds, to provide educational information on the commitment required to care for exotic birds - both large and small.

We will be accepting new member applications during this event. Please drop by & visit us, learn about our group and the exotic birds at our booth.

Burger & Beer Fun'draiser

On April 29, 2006 F.E.A.T.H.E.R.S. held our first Burger and Beer Fundraiser. This event was a huge success - A warm thank you to Deborah for organizing the event. Also to the Somerset Pub, our hosts and most importantly to all those who attended. The burgers and beer were terrific but it was the "action" at the silent auction table and the draw sales that really made this fundraiser a success. It must be noted that many individuals and businesses donated these wonderful items that helped to raise much needed funds. Thanks to all the members who participated in selling the tickets and obtaining prizes and auction items!!!!!

Feathers Bird Fair

Feathers Bird Fair - Sept. 2005
This was our first large event and it was held in Nanaimo at Beban Park. The Bird Fair was a great success!
We welcomed many potential exotic bird owners, and many other visitors to our Bird Fair.
Generous support for this event came from the following companies, who each donated wonderful items or supported us by attending the show.
